Mark and Mina Fies Explore Options at Ferguson Showroom

No matter how long you’ve been in the housing industry, there’s just something about a building products showroom. Rows of dangling light fixtures. Arrays of countertop materials in every shade from light to dark. Display after display of carefully edited kitchen and bathroom looks showing off the latest appliances, fixtures, and finishes.

Mark and Mina Fies got to explore it all this spring at the Ferguson showroom in Chantilly, Va., where they checked out plumbing, lighting, and appliances. Mark, above, can be seen inspecting sink sizes. “Mark and I love utilizing Ferguson’s vast showroom with our clients because it makes it easy to show them a wide range of selections all in one place,” says Mina. The Reston, Va., remodeling firm has used Ferguson for 13 years for their customers, but this visit was a little different for Synergy’s CEO and COO. “This time it was our turn,” Mina says. “We had fun being on the other side of the experience.”  

After careful consideration, they chose JennAir appliances for the kitchen, which will include a gas range and cooktop. They also selected faucets for the primary and secondary cooking areas. 

Mark and Mina Fies selected the 48-inch version of this JennAir Rise gas range because of its aesthetics. It combines wi-fi connectivity with the look and feel of manual controls.

Mark and Mina Fies chose this Brizo Litze kitchen faucet for style and practical reasons. “It had a farther reach, which is necessary with our oversized 40” sink, and we liked the modern look with the black and gold,” Mina says.

This Delta Trinsic faucet will fit the smaller space of the secondary kitchen at the Model ReModel while still providing a pull-down sprayer.
